After years of research, Peng Longgui's team has produced recycled fiberglass with different aspect ratios and a certain functional distribution, solving the core technical problem of key equipment for solid waste recycling.

In 2020, the team, together with the scientific research team of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Beijing Aviation Materials Research Institute of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, was approved as a key project of the National Key Research and Development Plan "Solid Waste Resource Recycling".
At present, Peng Longgui's team has conducted engineering demonstrations of the results in multiple projects and scenarios. Demonstrations show that recycled fiberglass improves the wear resistance, crack resistance, durability, and anti-permeability properties of concrete, and has been well received by many parties.
