On October 10, Solvay launched XencorTM XTreme, a new long fiberglass PPA solution for battery applications that require resistance to thermal runaway and propagation.

Xencor™ This series of materials maintains excellent levels of electrical insulation after exposure to flame, helping to mitigate thermal runaway in batteries. What’s more, the material has a high glass transition temperature (Tg), ensuring the component remains dimensionally stable under battery operating conditions.
