Türkiye issues final anti-dumping ruling on glass fiber reinforced materials from Egypt and Bahrain
On July 19, 2025, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2025/18, imposing a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on fiberglass reinforced materials (Turkish: cam elyafı takviye malzemeleri) originating in Egypt and Bahrain. The ruling imposed anti-dumping duties on the affected products on a CIF basis: 9.58% for Jushi Egypt for Fiberglass Industry S.A.E. (Egypt), 14.63% for other Egyptian companies, 20% for CPIC Abahsain Fiberglass W.L.L. (Bahrain), and 23.61% for other Bahrain companies. The Turkish tariff numbers for the affected products are 7019.11, 7019.12, 7019.15, and 7019.19. The measures took effect from the date of the announcement and remain in effect for five years.
On August 6, 2024, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2024/26, initiating an anti-dumping investigation on glass fiber reinforced materials originating in Egypt and Bahrain.
