NANJING EFG CO., LTD., expert of wateproof frame materials
The production of fiberglass is mainly carried out in tank kilns, and crucible drawing is gradually withdrawing from the market. There are two main processes for fiberglass production, namely, two-step forming-crucible drawing and one-step forming-tank kiln drawing. Crucible drawing: The process is complicated. First, the glass raw materials are melted at high temperature to form glass balls, and then the glass balls are melted again and drawn at high speed to form fiberglass strands. Tank kiln drawing: The raw materials such as pyrophyllite are melted in the kiln to form a glass solution, and after the bubbles are removed, they are transported to the porous plate through the passage, and drawn at high speed to form fiberglass strands. The kiln can connect hundreds of platelets through multiple passages to produce at the same time. Compared with the crucible drawing method, the tank kiln drawing process is simple, energy-saving and consumption-reducing, stable forming, high efficiency and high yield, and convenient for large-scale fully automated production. It has become the international mainstream production process, and the fiberglass produced by this process accounts for more than 90% of the global output.
